Denise Humphrey

 

Hello, I’m Denise, an illustrator and mural artist based in the beautiful North East of England. I studied Graphic Design, Printing and CAAD. Since 2013, I have been creating vibrant, story -filled murals that bring walls to life and turn everyday spaces into something truly special.  

 

Every design I paint is unique, whether it’s inspired by a client’s vision or a story I’ve dreamt up myself. My work is full of colour, detail, and personality, often featuring playful caricatures of people, local landmarks and the little quirks that make a place feel like home.  

 

I believe art should make people smile, spark conversation and celebrate community. That’s why I love working with local businesses, schools and homeowners to transform blank walls into joyful, meaningful pieces of art that reflect the heart of the community.  

 

When I’m not up a ladder with a paintbrush in hand, you’ll probably find me exploring new towns, sketching ideas on my iPad, or chatting with locals and finding out the stories that make our region so special.
